Syn Gas Gensets

The GGE-Guascor syn gas engines range from 238 to 735 kWb.

The SFGLD engine series has been specially developed to work on lean gases from biomass gasification processes. This type of engine burns lean gas from 4.5 to 14 MJ/Nm³, with combustible components being largely CO and H₂.

The engine usability essentially depends on the purity of the biomass gas resulting from the gasification process and subsequent cleaning. The content of tar and particles in the gas fed into the engine is of paramount importance.

Our syn gas engines can be equipped with mechanical or electronic carburetion control and are adaptable to any type of biomass gas. They have been successfully tested with product gases from the gasification of wood, olive oil waste, nut shells, coffee grounds, and waste tires.

• Oil cooler in main / auxiliary circuit
• 90ºC main cooling circuit temperature
• 55ºC intercooler cooling circuit temperature
