The project has an installation of 4 of GGE’s 4 nos. SFGLD-560 Guascor gas engines which consumes MSW bio gas produced in the MSWP and generates renewable electricity. Commissioned in August, 2013, the gas engine has been meeting the captive power requirement of the MSWP continuously. Complimenting sustainability, in parallel the sewage gas based power project reduces the emissions of green house gases.
